PORLOCK HARDWARE is an old fashioned family run hardware store, where you can get almost anything and where Customer service is of the utmost importance. If we do not have your required item we will almost certainly get it quickly.

A hardware business was first established at the present premises in 1935 by Mr A Upstone who took his wares and paraffin to the outlying villages in a purpose built van. By the time Mr John Lynn took over in 1966 motor car ownership brought the outlying population into the shop along with an increasing number of tourists. Brian and Sheila Culcheth, the third owners, took over in 1985. Keith and Julie, together with their daughter Fiona, are now the current owners of the shop, having taken over in 2007. They continue with the long tradition of a family run business.

They offer traditional hardware products together with new lines, all provided with good old fashioned service, where the customer always counts.
